Brenda helped us with buying an apartment in Jersey City and its been a real pleasure working with her through the process. We were not really sure when we started the process. Not sure about the neighborhood, not sure about the market and not sure about the process. Coming from Europe, despite being owners there, was not really going to help us to understand the way things are done here. Meeting Brenda was the answer to all those questions. She was really patient, starting from square one with us, walking us through the entire process. Lender, Attorney, Home inspector, Insurance – all coming from her contacts and referrals. All great professionals and making a great team together. Clearly they know each other for years and know what the others need to keep the ball rolling. We were renting here in Hoboken and afraid to need to pay the termination fees to our landlord. She helped us approached them and agreed on the terms. She also offered her help to find them a new tenant in a very short period of time. Still, nobody is saying this was easy. The price in Hoboken keeps going up at an incredibly high pace, what we thought we could afford one year ago, it was moving above our price range quickly. Made multiple offers, the infamous best and final too, got rejected even going over asking. Brenda kept taking care of our morale in our low moments. Still after several months searching, she was showing us more places with the same enthusiasm. Finally, when not really sure what to do, we found the apartment. We are very happy and appreciate all the effort Brenda made. Always responsive, on top of selling agent and owners to have our offer accepted and out of attorney review quickly. Our 5 year old son is still finger pointing houses all over Hoboken – We saw that one with Brenda! Do you remember?

If you're buying in Hoboken, please call Brenda! It's very hard to do anything without a broker, and Brenda is great. As importantly, she's just a plain good person. Anyway, Brenda did some very specific things because of which we now own an apartment in Hoboken: - Found out about the place even before it was listed. In the crazy Hoboken market, this was critical to get the place. - Negotiated exceptionally with seller's agent, to allow us to place the offer before the listing was out. This made everybody happy: the process was quick and everyone was comfortable with the price. - Was patient for more than half a year. She quickly understood our needs, and even helped us articulate some needs that we didn't even know we had (specific location). We spent a great deal of time visiting places with her. This included even places that we said we wouldn't buy, but were curious. Always patient, never pushing us, Brenda unlocked door after door. I think this is how Brenda earned our trust: by not pushing us into any quick decisions. With her, the process mainly involved being patient and exhaustive in search, and waiting for the right moment, but then moving quickly. Because we trusted her, we accepted her advice, and I think it served us well. Notably: - Choice of attorney and lender who are familiar with the idiosyncratic Hoboken real estate. - Tactics of moving quickly when we like something. She was supportive when frustration set in after being outbid several times. And she was patient when we changed our minds about places that we at first liked. Brenda is very responsive (phone, email, text messages) and we had great communication. She knew the answers to many of our questions, and when she didn't, she was upfront about it and either researched the answers, or directed us to someone better qualified (e.g. financing questions). Good communication is very important in this process! Thank you Brenda!

It's been almost 2 months since my husband and I moved and settled into our new home and we're finally getting around to writing a review for Brenda. We met Brenda Wolfe by chance, when we were just starting to go to open houses. We were not interested in working with an agent at that time, but Brenda really impressed us when we met her at an open house. She made a really good presentation of that condo, and even though we did not work with her we had a friendly discussion about the real estate business in the area. She seemed very knowledgeable and she made some great suggestions which made us choose her as our real estate agent. Best choice we’ve ever made! She was organized, on-time, thoughtful, caring, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire home buying process. She was extremely patient working with two new homebuyers who only had a basic idea of what they wanted. She really took the time to get to know us as people and asked us various questions regarding what we expected our dream home to be. I truly believe that at one point she had a better idea of what we needed than we did. I am sure that Brenda had our best interest in mind since she pushed us to see some houses she thought were good for us and steered us away from condos she felt won’t meet our needs and expectations. We always felt she was answering our questions honestly as an agent and as an advisor. She always took us to see homes as soon as they hit the market and we never felt as if we were missing out on any homes. When we needed to move fast on a property, Brenda was willing to work at all hours to sign paperwork, make offers, and prepare lists of prices with the houses and condos which were sold in the area. We really appreciated her excellence in communicating both via email and phone and her flexibility with her schedule. We were on a tight budget but we really wanted a two-bedroom condo. It was not easy to find homes in our price range and in a good neighborhood. We looked for about 6 months and she never pushed us to make any offers unless we really liked the home. We’ve lost some bids and she helped us cope with the stress when we began to worry. Thanks to Brenda and her patience we ended up buying a gorgeous three-bedroom condo instead of a two bedroom in a nice area of Hoboken. Besides working with us in the actual home buying process, she also helped us to find a mortgage lender, an attorney, home inspector, and even a moving company (all excellent recommendations)! We would highly recommend her for all home buyers, even the more picky ones.

Brenda Wolfe did an excellent job in selling my condo. At our initial meeting we discussed my goals and set up an action plan. Within the next 48 hours, she had my apartment photographed and listed.
